About Us
Ellen Tanner
Ellen Tanner is an occupational therapist of nearly 20 years, and as part of this role, or in conjunction with it, she’s been speaking, teaching and coaching for 14 years. She’s worked across the lifespan, spending roughly half of her career in public education (where she is now) and the other half in healthcare, as well as shorter periods of time in community mental health and working closely with social service organizations. During her career she has honed her craft of interviewing to elicit the multifaceted and layered stories of all her many patients, students, families, and clients to better learn how to serve them. For well over a decade, Ellen has been designing multisensory workshops and courses engaging both small and large groups in service of helping folks overcome their struggles to find meaning and fulfillment, define and manifest dreams, and connect more deeply with themselves and others.
Kevin J Bowman
Kevin Bowman is a developer, technician, and storyteller. Kevin has spent 25 years developing solutions rooted in technology in both the corporate and theater world. He spent 6 years as the production manager for St Louis Fringe, and has production managed for a variety of St Louis theater companies including Max & Louie Productions with whom he was part of production teams earning both Best Drama and Best Comedy in the Theater Circle Awards. Additionally, he has served as a lighting designer, projection designer, and sound designer for a variety of local theater companies including Midnight Company, Tesseract Theater, and Fly North Theatricals. Outside the theater world, Kevin is an application developer, IT director, and database manager for a multistate construction company. Kevin is an award winning performer and storyteller entertaining adults and children across the country.
Together they are a creative team, capturing the stories of those who feel least heard and collaborating with artists to tell those stories in order to start a broader public conversation about how we can raise the proverbial tide to lift all ships!
